Hockey is a sport known to be very difficult to play because of its ice-filled court that requires a player to be skilled in skiing. This sport is like a football played in an ice skate where ice is hard, players wears skates with sharp blades and the use of hockey sticks as a weapon. As you imagine how difficult it can be you will realize how good the hockey players are. • Spinal cord injury – once a player falls, the first part of the body that is exposed in the icy and hard floor is the back part. Once a person falls and his spinal cord is affected, he could not easily move no matter how hard he tries.
• Foot injury – the cold temperature and the long time of skiing can cause havoc in the lower parts of the body particularly the heels.
• Cuts and bleeding – one a player catches up with the rival there is a tendency of falling resulting to a cut caused by the sharp blades.
• Head injury – this can be caused by falling.
• Frostbite – this can be felt by a player because of the icy cold temperature.
• Black eye – only the goalies wears a helmet where their faces are protected and so faces of the players are open to injuries.
• Broken teeth – this is caused by the strong impact of the player’s fall in the hard icy floor.

No matter how many times the players will get injured in a hockey game, still they have the determination to play again. Those who have leaf tickets can obviously see the dedication and perseverance of the players to show fantastic performances that could defeat their rivals.

For a player who is dreaming to be the best, an injury could never keep them leave their passion in playing hockey. The successful players did not reach the success without suffering from different problems including injuries but because of their hard work and optimism they have reached what they have been dreaming of.
